Years ago, I never imagined becoming someone who would enjoy writing. If you were to ask my English teacher in school if I might have the ability to write, I may have been laughed out of the classroom. However, when I acquired Spasmodic Dysphonia, a lovely vocal disorder, this forced me to rethink how to get my message across through the tool of writing.
Although I have accepted my charming voice for what it is and continue to teach, I do have a passion for writing. Receiving testimonials like this is never taken for granted and keeps me passionate about putting my thoughts to words.

I have literally just finished the last page and thoroughly enjoyed the read and content. It was easy to read and understand for any person with an interest in the subject matter.
I myself have trained in Karate since the age of 13 and now the ripe old age of 49. My journey has been an interesting one as I only feel that I have started to understand the true meaning in the last 6years. Many so-called martial arts instructors have no idea what the context of their teaching is, which is a shame.
